The Pine Hills Storefront Revival Project is a charitable economic-development initiative of the Pine Hills Community Foundation, Inc. Through the Project, eligible storefront businesses may receive support for approved exterior improvements that enhance their business while contributing to stronger, more welcoming commercial corridors across Pine Hills.

Focused on Pine Hills commercial corridors.

Participating properties must be located within the approved Project area. The current boundary references below are provided for preliminary screening; PHCF will verify the property address and final eligibility.

How Participation Works

From interest to improvement.

Submitting the interest form is the first step. It helps PHCF understand your business, location, and proposed storefront needs before the formal application and review process.

PHCF reviews location, business type, proposed work, and preliminary eligibility.

Formal Application

Applicants moving forward complete the formal application and required supporting documentation during the published application period.

Project Readiness

Selected projects complete required agreements, contractor and preconstruction requirements, and written authorization before work begins.

Before you begin: Funding is limited, and submission does not guarantee eligibility, selection, or funding. Do not begin construction, purchase materials, hire or engage a contractor for Project work, or incur expenses in expectation of reimbursement before all required approvals and written authorization.

Maintenance Commitment *

The Project materials identify five years as the standard/highly recommended term and three years as the minimum acceptable term.

5. Acknowledgements & Signature

I understand approved work must be completed by June 30, 2027 unless an authorized written extension is approved. I understand Project-funded work may proceed only after approval and must use an approved Florida-licensed contractor under the applicable Project requirements.
